Delaware High School Baseball - Sussex Academy sneaks past Seaford

March 28, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947

In Friday's league game, the host Sussex Academy Seahawks baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Seaford Bluejays.

The Seahawks (2-0) will now prepare for their game against St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, St. Andrew's held off Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE), 6-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bluejays face the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) in a Henlopen South game, on Tuesday, April 1. Seaford will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE).
