Alabama High School Baseball - Spain Park defeats Utica

In Friday's non-league game, the host Spain Park Jaguars baseball team scored a close 9-3 win over the Utica Redskins.

The Jaguars (14-10) will now prepare for their game against Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Clarksville Academy nudged Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN), 14-0, in a league game.

Next, the Redskins play the Rossview Hawks (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 29. Utica will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 13-1 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL).
