In Friday's non-league game, the host Taylor Tigers baseball team scored a close 7-6 victory over the Spring Hill Bears.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Cougars enter the 1A Region 8 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Lafayette County was tipped by Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR), 23-7, in a league game.
Next, the Bears face the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 2A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, April 1. Spring Hill will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-10 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Poyen (Poyen, AR).
