The Classical Purple (Providence, RI) lacrosse routed the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 14-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Purple now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Country Day for a Division 4 outing on Monday, March 31.
With the loss, Pilgrim falls to 0-2 on the year. The Patriots host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to face the Sentinels in a Division 3 outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Sentinels come into the match with a record of 0-0.
