Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden Wildcats (Anna, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carbondale moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Centralia (Centralia, IL) to meet the Orphans in a South Seven test on Wednesday, April 2. The Orphans come into the test with a record of 4-0.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
