The Weatherford Eagles soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Elgin Owls to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Kingfisher for a non-league bout on Friday, March 28. Weatherford will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Crooked Oak (Oklahoma City, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Elgin moves to 1-2 on the year. The Owls travel to Duncan (Duncan, OK) to play the Demons in a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
