Fans at Friday's league battle between the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) and the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), saw Rabun County's soccer squad hold off Oglethorpe County by a count of 1-0.

The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards enter the 1A D-I Region 8 battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Banks County was edged by Elbert County (Elberton, GA), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Oglethorpe County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
