The Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) baseball trounced the host St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL), 19-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oswego East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. Brother Rice will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, St. Patrick drops to 1-3 on the year. The Shamrocks host St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
