The Casteel Colts baseball squad (Queen Creek, AZ), was edged 8-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ)

With the triumph, Desert Vista moves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. The Coyotes come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Skyline won 15-2 in their recent non-league contest against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ)

The Colts now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Basha for a contest on Tuesday, April 1. Casteel will confront a Bears squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 3-3.
