California High School Baseball - Taft loses to Garces Memorial

The Taft Wildcats baseball squad (Taft, CA), was overwhelmed 10-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA)

With the triumph, Garces Memorial moves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a contest on Monday, March 31. The Golden Hawks come into the contest with a record of 3-2. Centennial lost 8-2 in their recent non-league contest against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA)

The Wildcats now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chavez for a contest on Tuesday, April 1. Taft will confront a Titans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Delano (Delano, CA). The Titans record now stands at 6-3.
