In Friday's non-league test, the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA), by a tally of 7-0.
Next, the Dragons clash with the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 31. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Tracy (Tracy, CA).
The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Alhambra held off De Anza (El Sobrante, CA), 23-3, in a non-league test.
