The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Casa Grande Cougars to 1 in the Nighthawks non-league win on Friday.

The Nighthawks now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon del Oro for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Ironwood Ridge will confront a Dorados team coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Casa Grande moves to 0-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Dorados in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1.
