In Friday's non-league test, the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), by a count of 16-10.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Charlotte Latin will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Landsharks enter the test with a 7-3 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL).
The Cyclones (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Raptors come into the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Academic Magnet tipped Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC), 14-8, in a non-league game.
