The Indian River Indians lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting The Gunston School Herons to 6 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mark's for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Indian River will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, The Gunston School falls to 0-1 on the year. The Herons travel to Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
