The Mercer Island Islanders triumphed over the visiting Issaquah Eagles lacrosse team by a tally of 9-2 in Friday's league match.
Next up, the Islanders confront the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors (Sudbury, MA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 24. Mercer Island will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Roswell tipped Walton (Marietta, GA), 16-11, in a non-league match.
