The Melrose Red Raiders lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Lynnfield Pioneers to 7 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Raiders now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belmont for a Middlesex outing on Tuesday, April 1.
With the loss, Lynnfield falls to 0-1 on the year. The Pioneers host Swampscott (Swampscott, MA) to face the Big Blue in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 3. The Big Blue go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
