In Friday's non-league test, the Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), by a count of 17-7.
Next up, the Knights battle the McCallie Blue Tornado (Chattanooga, TN) in a 2A East Region D2 test, on Wednesday, April 2. Pope John Paul II will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Blue Tornado enter the test with a 5-5 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Christ School (Arden, NC).
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Irish enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Father Ryan topped Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN), 15-6, in a non-league test.
