The Beecher Bobcats triumphed over the visiting Reed-Custer Comets softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats play the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Newark (Newark, IL).
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the Illinois Central Eight challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Wilmington overcame Dwight (Dwight, IL), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
