In Friday's non-league test, the Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS), by a tally of 15-0.
Next, the Pirates meet the Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Fairhope will attempt to advance on its 21-8 season record. The Hurricanes go into the test with a 2-12 record after their 1-0 league loss to Mary G. Montgomery (Semmes, AL).
The Indians (10-12) will now prepare for their test against D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS). The Warriors go into the 7A Region 4 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, D'Iberville was routed by Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS), 5-3, in a non-league test.
