Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 3-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Broad Run improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Spartans host Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA) to play the Vikings in a game on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 1-3. Loudoun Valley lost 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakton for a Concorde game on Friday, April 4.
