The Coffee County Central Red Raiders softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Lake Zurich Bears to 2 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Friday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bedford North Lawrence for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Coffee County Central will encounter a Stars team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Collierville (Collierville, TN). The Stars record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Lake Zurich moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bears host Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
