The Cole Camp Blue Birds (Cole Camp, MO) softball nipped the visiting Crest Ridge Cougars (Centerview, MO), 11-10 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Blue Birds now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concordia for a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. Cole Camp will encounter a Fighting Orioles team coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Northwest (Hughesville, MO). The Fighting Orioles record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Crest Ridge moves to 3-2 on the season. The Cougars host Midway (Cleveland, MO) to encounter the Vikings in a Class 1 District 8 outing on Wednesday, April 2. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 3-1.
