In Friday's non-league test, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels (Millington, TN), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a 7A Region 1 test, on Tuesday, April 1. DeSoto Central will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 14-9 record after their 12-5 league win over Southaven (Southaven, MS).

With the loss, Tipton-Rosemark Academy moves to 8-7 on the season. The Rebels host Dyer County (Newbern, TN) to confront the Choctaws in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Choctaws come into the battle with a record of 9-1. Dyer County won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
