In Friday's non-league test, the Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), by a tally of 21-2.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs (La Canada-Flintridge, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Providence will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Tologs go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA).

The Lions (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA). The Unicorns go into the Western test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Los Angeles CES was routed by Westchester (Los Angeles, CA), 6-5, in a league test.
