Alabama High School Softball - Hubbertville sneaks past South Lamar

In Friday's non-league match, the host Hubbertville Lions softball team scored a tight 12-11 win over the South Lamar Stallions.
The Lions (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Meek (Arley, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Meek nipped Hubbertville (Fayette, AL), 13-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Stallions battle the Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL) in a 1A Area 9 match, on Monday, March 31. South Lamar will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Berry (Berry, AL).
