The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA) and the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), observed Montoursville's softball team get by Jersey Shore by a final score of 4-2.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans go into the Heartland III bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Hughesville tipped Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA), 8-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a Heartland I bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Jersey Shore will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Seals go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Minersville (Minersville, PA).
