California High School Softball - Montgomery Novato

The Novato Hornets softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Montgomery Vikings to 3 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwood for a Marin County battle on Monday, March 31. Novato will confront a Giants team coming off a 10-0 league loss to San Marin (Novato, CA). The Giants record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Montgomery moves to 3-6 on the season. The Vikings host Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA) to meet the Lobos in a North Bay - Redwood challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
