Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Morgantown upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Mohigans travel to The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV) to play the Cadets in a non-league game on Monday, March 31. The Cadets enter the game with a record of 3-3. The Linsly School won 8-7 in their recent league game against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH)
The Knights now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chartiers-Houston for a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. St. Mary's Ryken will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-0.
