North Carolina High School Softball - Northampton County bounces Southeast Halifax

March 28, 2025: Gaston, NC 27832

The Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) softball routed the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), 52-27 in Friday's league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Monday, March 31. Northampton County will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 21-6 league win over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Southeast Halifax moves to 4-3 on the season. The Trojans host Bertie (Windsor, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 4-8. Bertie lost 16-0 in their recent league outing against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
