The Sardis Lions edged the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Sardis will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 14-12 league win over Corner (Warrior, AL).
