Texas High School Baseball - Trenton edges Bonham

The Trenton Tigers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Bonham Warriors to 11 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now hold a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Dodd City for a 2A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, March 31. Trenton will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-3.
The Warriors (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats come into the 4A Region II District 9 outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, Celina tipped Gainesville (Gainesville, TX), 11-0, in a league outing.
