In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Chaparral Bobcats baseball team scored a close 10-9 win over the Temple Wildcats.
The Bobcats (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Broncos come into the 5A Region II District 16 outing with a 12-6 record.
With the defeat, Temple drops to 6-18 on the year. The Wildcats host Killeen (Killeen, TX) to play the Kangaroos in a 6A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, March 31. The Kangaroos go into the test with a record of 3-15. Killeen lost 41-1 in their recent league test against Temple (Temple, TX)
