In Saturday's non-league game, the host Riverside Pirates baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Greenon Knights.

The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Catholic Central (Springfield, OH). The Irish come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

The Knights now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwestern for a non-league match on Monday, March 30. Greenon will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
