The Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) baseball trounced the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 12-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Barberton for a Suburban - American bout on Monday, March 30. Highland will encounter a Magics squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Magics record now stands at 0-1.
