The Shady Spring Tigers triumphed over the visiting Ripley Vikings baseball team by a count of 13-7 in Saturday's league test.

The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league test on Monday, March 30. Shady Spring will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 18-1.

With the defeat, Ripley drops to 3-2 on the year. The Vikings host PikeView (Princeton, WV) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, March 30. The Panthers enter the bout with a record of 7-0. PikeView won 11-10 in their recent league bout against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV)
