In Saturday's league bout, the Williams Vikings (Williams, AZ) baseball team trounced the visiting Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), by a count of 20-3.
The Vikings now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ash Fork/Seligman for a 1A North challenge on Friday, April 3. Williams will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Red Mesa moves to 1-4 on the season. The Redskins travel to Northwest (Shiprock, NM) to confront the Falcons in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 31.
