The South Elgin Storm overwhelmed the visiting Dyer County Choctaws softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Storm meet the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 31. South Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to York (Elmhurst, IL).
The Choctaws (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Fighting 59ers come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
