Alabama High School Softball - West End held off by Hokes Bluff

March 28, 2026: Walnut Grove, AL 35990

In Saturday's league test, the Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) softball squad got by the host West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), by a tally of 4-3.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL) in a 4A Area 11 outing, on Tuesday, March 31. Hokes Bluff will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 11-5 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL).

With the loss, West End moves to 9-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Valley Head (Valley Head, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 4. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-3.
