Nevada High School Softball - Lone Pine bounces Tonopah

March 28, 2026: Tonopah, NV 89049

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lone Pine Golden Eagles softball team scored a nice 20-4 win over the Tonopah Muckers.

The Golden Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Desert (Edwards AFB, CA). The Scorpions enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Desert was routed by California City (California City, CA), 24-10, in a league game.

The Muckers now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Laughlin for a 1A Southern match on Thursday, April 2. Tonopah will confront a Cougars team coming off a 15-6 league loss to Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 5-6.
