Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hempfield Area defeats Connellsville

March 29, 2021: Connellsville, PA 15425

Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Connellsville Falcons (Connellsville, PA), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hempfield Area upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 31. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Connellsville falls to 0-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 30. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Franklin Regional won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA)
