The Edwardsville Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record.
The Griffins (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Maine South was overwhelmed by Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 7-3, in a non-league match.
