The Evangel Christian Lightning baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Tuscaloosa Academy Knights to 4 in the Lightning non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lightning (14-9) will now prepare for their match against Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Chambers Academy tipped Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL), 4-0, in a non-league match.
The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 19-3 record.
