Illinois High School Baseball - Gallatin County loses to Pope County

The Pope County Pirates baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Gallatin County Hawks to 2 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
With the win, Pope County upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Crab Orchard (Marion, IL) to battle the Trojans in a Greater Egyptian challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Crab Orchard lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL)
With the defeat, Gallatin County falls to 1-3 on the season. The Hawks host Pope County (Golconda, IL) to battle the Pirates in a Greater Egyptian challenge on Friday, April 8. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
