The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the host Cypress Bay Lightning to 6 in the Chiefs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Chiefs (11-2) will now prepare for their match against American Heritage (Plantation, FL). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, American Heritage nudged Cooper City (Cooper City, FL), 22-4, in a non-league match.
The Lightning (5-2) will now prepare for their match against West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, West Broward was overwhelmed by Palmetto (Miami, FL), 6-3, in a non-league match.
