The Elkhorn South Storm baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts to 0 in the Storm non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Storm (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats go into the match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Millard West gained a win over Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE), 7-3, in a league match.
The Thunderbolts (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Papillion-LaVista was overwhelmed by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 10-4, in a league match.
