In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Haywood Tomcats soccer squad scored a close 4-3 win over the Covington Chargers.
The Tomcats (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Ripley was nudged by Millington Central (Millington, TN), 9-0, in a league battle.
