The Albany Hornets softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Bogalusa Lumberjacks to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Albany moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Hornets host East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 30. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 5-7.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks clash with the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a 3A District 7 game, on Thursday, April 7. Bogalusa will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
