California High School Softball - Oakmont holds off Christian Brothers

The Oakmont Vikings the visiting Christian Brothers Falcons softball squad by a final score of 4-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the Foothill Valley League battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Placer nudged West Park (Roseville, CA), 12-8, in a league battle.

The Falcons now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to El Camino for a Capital Athletic League battle on Thursday, March 31. Christian Brothers will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 18-4 league win over Sacramento (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
