Pennsylvania High School Softball - Ephrata knocked off by Fleetwood

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), by a margin of 12-3.

With the triumph, Fleetwood moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to play the Indian in a non-league contest on Friday, April 1. The Indian come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Lehighton won 12-5 in their recent non-league contest against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA)

In their next game, the Mountaineers play the Elizabethtown Bears (Elizabethtown, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 contest, on Wednesday, March 30. Ephrata will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
