The Fairfield Christian Academy Knights (Lancaster, OH) softball nipped the host Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Madison Christian (Groveport, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
